The Albuquerque Area Southwest Tribal Epidemiology Center would like to invite you to participate in a tribal environmental health symposium to engage and network with tribal representatives from the 27 tribes in the Indian Health Service Albuquerque Area.
Who should attend?
Tribal Community Members
Environmental & Public Health Practitioners, Health Care Providers, Housing, Injury Prevention, Community Health Representatives & others that work in environmental health
Tribes, State, Academic, Indian Health Service Health Professionals and other entities that partner with tribal communities in the Indian Health Service Albuquerque Area
During the symposium you will:
Network with tribal, state and government environmental health representatives
Learn about resources available at the NM Department of Health Environmental Public Health Tracking and Indian Health Service Division of Environmental Health Services
Learn about environmental health projects in a few tribal communities
Participate in roundtable discussions to identify environmental concerns in tribal
communities

Registration is paid by AASTEC for tribes in the Albuquerque Area. There is no cost to
participants. **Lodging assistance is limited, and will be provided on first come first served basis. To be eligible for lodging assistance, participants must be traveling at least 60 miles round trip to attend the symposium.
